Manchester United defender Tyrell Malacia is a potential target for Juventus, who see him as a replacement for Danilo.
That’s according to Tutto Juve, who say the full back is a potential ‘last minute idea’ for the Italian club as they look to make changes for Thiago Motta this month.
They report that Malacia will be one of the players leaving Manchester United in the January transfer window as Ruben Amorim reshapes the squad, he inherited from Erik ten Hag.
The defender has been in and out of the side under the Portuguese coach since his arrival as he continues to battle back from a knee injury which saw him out of action for well over a year.
Juventus are seemingly unconcerned by that and are instead eyeing up the opportunity of a last-minute loan for the Manchester United man.
They see him as a player with the same characteristics as Danilo, who appears to be on course to leave the Italian side this month and will need to be replaced.
Whether Manchester United would sanction a loan, even one with an option or obligation to buy, isn’t mentioned, just that Juventus are eyeing up a last-minute move. That suggests they may wait until later in the window, perhaps when United are more desperate, to get the Dutchman.
