Turkish newspaper Fanatik report Besiktas are hoping to keep Leicester City loanee Rachid Ghezzal in their squad for next season.
The Algerian winger joined the Super Lig club on a temporary basis at the end of the last summer transfer window, and he’s made an excellent start to his career in Istanbul, proving himself a vital part of Sergen Yalcin’s team.
He’s contributed three assists in six league games this season, and subsequently the Turkish side have already started exploring ways to keep him beyond this campaign.
In addition to Ghezzal, Fanatik claim Besiktas would like to keep hold of Sporting’s Valentin Rosier, who has also been a key player since his arrival.
Ghezzal’s contract with Leicester City will expire at the end of June 2022, but it seems the Black Eagles could reach an agreement with the Premier League side given he looks surplus to requirements under Brendan Rodgers.
Besiktas currently lie fourth in the league table, just four points off the leaders.
