Inter Milan still haven’t got rid of Andrea Ranocchia, which is perhaps something of a surprise.
Very much pushed out of the picture at Inter, with the club seemingly having no intention of letting him back in, the defender has been for sale all summer.
Ranocchia may have expected his good loan spell at Hull City last season would bring him more interest from England, but there hasn’t been anything especially concrete so far.
Watford have probably been the club most repeatedly linked, largely because their manager Marco Silva had the player on loan at Hull City for the second half of the last campaign.
Burnley have been mentioned a few times in Italy, and Corriere dello Sport has both clubs together on Sunday.
It’s stated that a couple of offers are expected for the central defender before the end of the window, and those offers are from Watford and Burnley.
There’s no mention of price, but Inter are happy to see the player go, so it shouldn’t be too difficult to come to an agreement.
