With Manchester City signing several youngsters from South America this summer, it’s now time to reallocate them to some other clubs from the City Group.
This is the case of midfielder Metinho, who was signed from Brazilian side Fluminense this year, and despite being officially transferred to the Premier League side, it seems he’s moving to France first.
According to Foot Mercato journalist Santi Aouna, Metinho is arriving at Ligue 2 side Troyes ‘this week’, where he’ll be loaned by Manchester City until the ‘end of the season’.
The 18-year-old is part of a double deal that the City Group managed to make with Fluminense back at the start of the year.
They’ve managed to anticipate Metinho’s move for the summer, but Kayky, the promising winger who’s expected to stay at Manchester City, will only move in January, as he’s completing the Brazilian season with the Rio de Janeiro side first.
Other moves on the way are of Peruvian fullback Kluiverth Aguilar, who’s being by the English side loaned to Lommel, and Argentine winger Dario Sarmiento, whose destination apparently hasn’t been decided by the City Group yet.
