Bursa based newspaper Olay report Bursaspor are very close to loaning Henri Saivet from Newcastle United following talks between the two clubs.
It’s reported that the Turkish club have switched their attention back to Saivet after talks with Istanbul Başakşehir F.K midfielder Marcio Mossoro fell through.
Earlier in the transfer window Bursaspor were linked with Saivet, with reports the Turkish club’s manager Samet Aybaba is keen to work with the player again.
The pair enjoyed a decent second half of last season together at fellow Turkish club Sivasspor, whilst on loan from the Premier League.
Olay say Bursaspor have convinced Newcastle United over Saivet, and they are looking to loan him for free. The player is also very close to agreeing personal terms with Bursaspor.
It’s claimed Saivet is expected to arrive in Bursa this week to complete his move to the Super Lig club.
The player is contracted to the Magpies until June 2021.
