Norwich City were relegated from the Premier League last season, a year after returning to the top flight.

In the summer of 2021, the Canaries brought several new faces to the club and among them was Christos Tzolis, who arrived at Carrow Road from Greek side PAOK FC.

In his debut season at Norwich, the winger made 17 appearances in all competitions, which included only three league starts. He failed to score a goal or register an assist in the top flight.

Despite the 20-year-old’s struggles in England, he continues to be of interest to Club Brugge.

Wednesday’s edition of Het Nieuwsblad state the Jupiler Pro League winners hope to sign the Greece international this summer.

Due to his struggles at Norwich, the report explains both the English club and Tzolis are looking for a solution.

Having failed in their attempts to sign the attacker from PAOK in January 2021, Club Brugge ‘continued to follow’ him and have now ‘decided to make another attempt’ to land him this summer.

Norwich manager Dean Smith has confirmed the player is talking to another club to go out on a loan deal, but didn’t make it clear whether it was Club Brugge or some other side.

“Christos is talking to a club to go out on loan. It was a tough season last year for him. We can’t really guarantee games,” the Norwich boss said.

“He’s still a young player and I believe if he goes out on loan and build his confidence and plays regularly, then we can have a better Christos come next season.”
