Fanatik report Sivasspor have been dealt a blow in their pursuit of Manchester City youngster Marlos Moreno as the Premier League champions are looking to loan him elsewhere in this transfer window.

Moreno has recently returned from his loan spell at Flamengo and there were reports in the Turkish press that Sivasspor were very close to signing the attacker on a loan deal.

However, Fanatik now claim Manchester City are looking to loan him to a Brazilian side despite Sivasspor agreeing on a deal with the player and his agent.

According to the Turkish newspaper, Sivasspor will now start looking at alternative forwards as the deal for Moreno is looking increasingly unlikely.

Earlier this month the club completed the signing of Fousseni Diabate from Leicester City on a loan deal until the end of the season and it was expected Moreno would follow the Malian attacker to the Super Lig side.
