Fotospor have reported Galatasaray are looking to sign Sunderland’s Fabio Borini before the end of the window. It’s been claimed the Turkish club have been in constant contact with Sunderland for the Italian forward.

Sunderland’s relegation to the Championship last season means Borini’s future at the Stadium of Light is unclear. Subsequently the Black Cats may be tempted to sell him this summer, and he could be keen to go.

Galatasaray are on the verge of confirming Bruma’s departure to German side RB Leipzig and the Turkish giants are looking use some of this money to sign Borini, say Fotospor.

The Galatasaray board have asked about Borini’s wage demands and if the former Liverpool player’s salary is within their budget they will commence official talks with Sunderland. The Turkish giants are restricted by FFP, and therefore they need to know if they can afford to finance the move.

The 26-year old is contracted to Sunderland until June 2019.
