Everton were linked with Adrien Rabiot before Carlo Ancelotti arrived at Goodison Park, so the manager turning up was only going to increase things further.
Ancelotti’s appointment saw Everton quickly linked with every conceivable target in Serie A, and given the manager worked with Rabiot at PSG the links were there to be made.
Those links have returned in recent days, and show little sign of immediately going away. Italy’s Stadio Sport report Juventus are already thinking about the summer market, knowing there’s work to do on Andrea Pirlo’s squad.
They need to bring funds in and selling Rabiot would bring complete profit given he arrived from PSG on a free transfer. It’s claimed Juve are considering an ‘offer received from Everton’ for a summer transfer, with no further information given on that.
Despite being used by Pirlo, Rabiot is considered to be one of the players who could be sold. According to the claims, the Toffees are ‘ready to do anything’ to please Ancelotti, and that includes matching the €30m Juve would be asking for.
