Fanatik claim Trabzonspor are interested in Crystal Palace defender Mamadou Sakho but the Turkish club are waiting for their manager’s thoughts on the player before making an offer for the Frenchman.
Sakho has been battling with injuries since the start of the season and the Turkish newspaper report Trabzonspor could offer him a fresh start.
Karadeniz Firtinasi are looking to sign at least one centre back this month, and it’s reported the former Liverpool defender is a target.
However, the Super Lig club’s board will first wait for Huseyin Cimsir’s report about the Crystal Palace player and will then decide what to do next.
If Cimsir wants the player, Fanatik claim Trabzonspor will make a loan offer to the South London club. The Trabzon club already have Alexander Sorloth on loan from the Premier League side.
Sakho has only made eight appearances for Roy Hodgson’s side this season and he’s currently recovering from a thigh injury. His contract with the Eagles will expire at the end of June 2021.
