Jorginho is yet to play for Arsenal even once this season, with the Italian being on the bench in all three games so far.
Even last season, the veteran played less than 1000 Premier League minutes, as the clock seems to be ticking on his time at the Emirates.
The transfer window in Turkey is still open for a couple of days and Jorginho is being eyed up by Galatasaray.
TMW have reported on Gala’s interest in the Italian, who could consider a late departure from Arsenal because of his lack of usage by Mikel Arteta. He is already said to be looking around for options, according to the Italian source.
Galatasaray have ‘strong interest’ in Jorginho and he is seen as an alternative to Casemiro, who is not leaving Manchester United.
The ex-Napoli midfielder is in the last year of his contract at Arsenal and that is leading to reflections being made at the club. More so, a good offer from Galatasaray may well be considered and the outlet seem confident that an exit is a possibility.
However, although it’s not reported, the issue may be that Galatasaray likely feel they can can get a very cheap or free deal. Arsenal’s ideas probably won’t match, and keeping Jorginho around if the offer isn’t good looks like a sensible approach.
