Antonio Conte has not relied upon Giovani Lo Celso since he arrived at Tottenham Hotspur last November.
The Argentina international spent the second half of last season on loan at Villarreal. Four days ago, reports from his country indicated a return to the La Liga side seemed to be the strongest option.
Fiorentina have also been credited with interest in the Tottenham player. According to La Nazione, relayed by Fiorentina.it, the Serie A side ‘continue to keep alive the track’ leading to the 26-year-old.
It’s claimed the ‘negotiations exists’, likely between Tottenham and Fiorentina. The latter must find an agreement with Spurs, especially with regards to bonuses to reach the fee demanded by Conte’s side.
Villarreal are also an option for Lo Celso this summer, even though Unai Emery’s side, at the moment, are far from reaching the price set by Tottenham.
