According to regional website Denizli Yeni Olay, Turkish Super Lig new boys Denizlispor are closing in on Leeds United winger Hadi Sacko.
Last week we covered claims from Turkey that the 25 year old is ‘almost certain’ to join Denizlispor this summer but recent reports suggested Leeds United’s asking price for the player was proving to be an issue for the Aegean side.
However, according to Denizli Yeni Olay, the winger is now close to joining the club after they solved their problems with the Championship side.
His former club Ankaragucu were also said to be in the picture for the player and that’s why Leeds had raised their asking price, report Denizli Yeni Olay.
The attacker reportedly had a meeting with Leeds United officials this week and it’s explained he is now ready to join Denizlispor, suggesting an agreement was reached on his release. It’s also claimed the Turkish side could confirm his signature next week following recent claims he’s also close to agreeing personal terms.
Sako played 15 games whilst on loan with Ankaragucu last season and scored three goals. He is under contract with the English side until June 2020.
