Paul Pogba has a year left on his contract at Manchester United and his future at Old Trafford is ‘uncertain’, according to Le Parisien.
Having tried to place his client at Real Madrid last summer, the 28-year-old’s agent, Mino Raiola will look to take the midfielder away from Old Trafford again this summer.
It’s claimed the midfielder’s representative is inclined to take Pogba to Paris because the Raiola-Leonardo ‘axis has been working wonderfully for several years’.
The PSG sporting director shares a good relationship with Raiola and the two are ‘currently putting final touches on the contract’ to bring Gianluigi Donnarumma to Parc des Princes on a free transfer.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side are ‘following the Pogba case very closely’, even though they have added Georginio Wijnaldum to their squad.
The French club will position themselves to sign the Red Devils player if they receive an opening either from him or Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side.
According to the newspaper, the former Juventus star will make a decision on his future after Euro 2020.
Despite the time left on Pogba’s contract, Le Parisien state it will not be ‘easy to convince’ United to sanction his sale this summer.
PSG are in the background and Leonardo’s relationship with Raiola may give them an edge to land the France international this summer, provided they convince United.
