Besiktas president Fikret Orman has allegedly told the Turkish side’s coach Senol Gunes he would be willing to sell Cenk Tosun in the next window.

Crystal Palace have again been linked with the Turkey international in the past few days, with claims this week they are lining up another bid for the player.

Haberturk have reported on comments Orman made to Gunes during a meeting about Tosun: “If the proposals are very serious numbers and we need to sell to benefit the club, we will sell. But your opinion is also important. If the proposals arrive in January, we will sit back and talk.”

Yesterday we covered reports Crystal Palace are willing to offer up to £22.4m to sign Tosun in January after failing to sign the forward in the summer.

The Eagles tabled two bids for the Besiktas star, and even though their improved offer was accepted by the Turkish champions it came too late in the window to get a deal done. Besiktas also had concerns over Crystal Palace’s payment plan.

Tosun also confirmed last month he would have become a Crystal Palace if the Premier League side had acted quicker in trying to sign him.
