Napoli are starting a new era under the guidance of Carlo Ancelotti, who was appointed as their new manager earlier this month. The Italian has the experience of winning in domestic and European competition at different clubs, including the Serie A with AC Milan during 2003/04 season.

According to CalcioNapoli24.it, the leadership at Napoli are “negotiating on several tables”, including the outgoings this summer. Jorginho has been linked with a move to Manchester City and his agent has already admitted that he will move to the Etihad, if the two clubs can “find an agreement”.

The report claims Napoli director of sport Cristiano Giuntoli will be in Milan on Wednesday and then travel to London for two reasons – Jorginho and Tottenham’s Mousa Dembele.

The Brazil-born Italian international is wanted by Pep Guardiola and Giuntoli will be in the English capital to sanction his sale. The second reason for Giuntoli’s visit to London is to discuss Dembele, whose contract at Tottenham runs down in 2019. Napoli’s director of sport visit to Milan is to start informal contact with “some agents” and then “test the ground” for the two players in London.
