According to Izmir based newspaper Yeni Asir, Turkish club Goztepe are interested in signing Chelsea defender Matt Miazga.

It’s reported Goztepe manager Tamer Tuna has given his transfer shortlist to the Super Lig club’s board and he’s reportedly informed them signing Miazga is his priority this summer.

Goztepe president Mehmet Sepil has already held talks with the player’s agent, and will also look to speak with Chelsea with regards to a season long loan deal for the 23 year old.

Miazga is also said to be keen to play for Goztepe and Yeni Asir say he is aware of some high profile players like Demba Ba and Beto that have featured for the Super Lig club in recent seasons.

The American defender spent last season on loan with Championship side Reading where he made 18 appearances. It’s very unlikely he’ll break into Chelsea team next season and another loan move looks on the cards.

He has a contract at Stamford Bridge until June 2022.
