There’s a claim in the Turkish media that Besiktas will make a move for Everton forward Cenk Tosun this week.
The 27 year old has been linked with a return to his former club in recent months as they look to bolster their attacking options this summer.
Fanatik have reported on the latest developments with regards to Besiktas’ pursuit of Tosun and they say the Super Lig side’s president Fikret Orman will make an offer for the Everton player.
It’s been well document in the Turkish media Orman wants to re-sign the Turkey international in the next transfer window as he looks to partner him with Burak Yılmaz for next season.
Due to the reported interest from their local rivals Fenerbahce, Besiktas have become ‘alarmed’ say Fantaik and subsequently they will step up their pursuit of the Everton player.
Tosun’s future under Marco Silva looks uncertain and yesterday he was again an unused substitute during Everton’s victory over Arsenal.
