Djurgarden sporting director Bosse Andersson has told the Swedish media he’s resigned to losing Felix Beijmo.

The 20 year old has been linked with a move to Wolverhampton Wanderers in recent months and there are fresh claims the Premier League side are still interested in the player.

Speaking to Expressen, Andersson was asked about the future of Beijmo after links with other clubs: “We are discussing with a number of clubs and we’ll see what happens. But if I’m honest, I do not think Felix will be playing in Djurgården for a long time.”

Expressen say Wolves, along with Bournemouth are in the race to sign the young fullback, but face competition from Bundesliga clubs.

Wolves have already held talks with Beijmo after they tried to sign the Swede in the last transfer window. A move never materialised after the English club pulled out of a deal at the last minute.

It’s claimed Werder Bremen are leading the chase to sign the defender following claims they’ve enquired about him.
