According to a claim in the Turkish media, Besiktas president Firket Orman is to open to negotiations with any club interested in signing Domagoj Vida.
This week there have been reports Liverpool have increased their offer for the Croatia international and they are willing to pay €20m.
Milliyet have reported on the latest developments with regards the future of Vida, as he prepares for today’s World Cup final against France. It’s claimed Orman will be at the final in Moscow and after the World Cup ends he’ll start to listen to offers for the central defender.
Orman will reportedly be personally involved in any talks over Vida and it’s likely they will sell the player due to the financial problems at the Turkish club. Portuguese attacker Ricardo Quaresma could also be offloaded in this transfer window.
This will give Liverpool a boost in any pursuit of Vida after being linked with the 29 year old in recent months.
Last month it was reported Liverpool had joined the race for the defender and had offered €15m. In recent days it’s be claimed in Turkey the Premier League side have increased their initial bid by €5m.
