Futbol Arena report Yeni Malatyaspor’s board are aware of the situation with Aboubakar Kamara after he was reportedly arrested after an altercation with a Fulham staff member.

The Frenchman was expected to arrive in Turkey this week to complete his move but after his arrest this may have changed things.

According to Futbol Arena, Yeni Malatyaspor president Adil Gevrek has been informed about the incident and he’s currently in London to talk with Fulham officials.

Yeni Malatyaspor manager Erol Bulut is still said to be insisting on signing Kamara’s teammate Neeskens Kebano despite reports earlier this week they’d backed away from a deal due to the player’s wage demands.

It seems the incident involving Kamara will not put Yeni Malatyaspor off signing the forward as they continue transfer discussions with Fulham.

Yeni Malatyaspor currently sit 3rd in the Turkish League table and are still looking to strengthen their squad before next week’s transfer deadline.
