According to Fotospor, Trabzonspor have joined the race to sign West Ham United attacker Andre Ayew.

The Turkish website reports Trabzonspor president Muharrem Usta has flown to London to meet with Ayew’s representatives, and that the Turkish club are interested in signing the Ghana international on loan.

Fotospor say the stories linking Trabzonspor with a move for former Chelsea forward Loic Remy are false, and Usta went on a secret mission to talk to the West Ham player’s agent.

Ayew is also being targeted by Turkish giants Galatasaray as the club’s manager Fatih Terim wants to see the West Ham man in his team ahead of next season. Terim tried to sign Ayew a few seasons ago before his move to Swansea City.

Ayew could leave the club during this transfer window, with claims Marseille and Swansea City are showing interest, along with the two Turkish clubs.

With the possible arrival of Inter Milan attacker Joao Mario in the coming days this would put doubts on Ayew’s future with the Hammers.
