Giuseppe Marotta has been speaking to TMW about possible incomings and outgoings at Juventus this summer.
The club’s CEO will be very busy if just 10% of the rumoured Juve moves actually happen in the coming months, and TMW had a whole list of things to ask Marotta about.
One of those is Emre Can, a man who has perhaps had more articles dedicated to him from Turin newspaper Tuttosport than any Premier League player before him.
With a contract running out next month, Can isn’t expected to renew and the Turin media believe he’s agreed to sign for Juventus.
Despite all of that, Marotta wasn’t prepared to confirm the transfer is happening, although he did give a big hint that he feels it will. TMW quote the CEO as saying: “Emre Can is expiring with Liverpool, He is attractive to many clubs and I am optimistic. When he decides to leave Liverpool I think we will have a great chance, within 10 days this can be defined.”
It would appear Can has been leaving it as late as possible to announce his exit from Liverpool.
There’s been claims of interest from Real Madrid and Bayern Munich but there hasn’t appeared to be anything concrete in those rumours, and unless someone else comes in quickly, it looks like the midfielder will be joining Juventus shortly.
