Valencia have returned to the work of signing Bryan Gil from Tottenham Hotspur, according to claims from Spain.
Estádio Deportivo today features a whole story explaining the player’s situation at Spurs, claiming that he was told by Antonio Conte that he’s not in the club’s plans.
Gil’s agents have been looking for the best possible destination for the winger, and from all offers on the table, it’s said Valencia’s was the one he liked the most.
The La Liga side, however, had been struggling to finance the move, and basically ruled it out for a while. Since they managed to sell Gonçalo Guedes and are now prepared for big investments, they have now returned for the Tottenham player.
It’s said Spurs’ idea is to secure a permanent sale worth around €25m, although the most likely option is really for Valencia to land him on a loan with an option to buy.
The information regarding the new chances of a deal is said to be brought by Radio Taronja. They claimed Peter Lim and his management group are now set to make a new effort to find an agreement with Tottenham.
