Charlie Patino has made two appearances for Arsenal’s senior team since graduating from their academy.

The Gunners sent him on loan to Blackpool last season, before sanctioning another loan move to Swansea City in the summer window. The 20-year-old has managed a goal and four assists from 11 games for the Welsh club.

His qualities and potential seem to have pleased AC Milan as Calciomercato state they have identified the Arsenal owned player as a target.

It’s said the Rossoneri are looking at young talents who have ‘shown Milan characteristics’, and the attacking midfielder is one of those is certainly marked on their list.

The report claims the Serie A side could consider making an attempt to sign him, if they make no progress in negotiations to renew Rade Krunić’s contract.

Earlier this year, claims from the UK stated Mikel Arteta’s side have activated an option to extend the England U21 international’s deal until 2025.

According to Calciomercato, Milan would face difficulties’ to ‘snatch a talent’ away from Arsenal because ‘a lot of money’ is needed to secure his services. The report adds at least €25m is needed to sign Patino, and this seems to be an issue for the Italian club.
