After signing Radamel Falcao from AS Monaco, Turkish champions Galatasaray are looking to add another striker to their squad by loaning Brighton and Hove Albion’s Florin Andone.

Andone has been linked with a move to the Super Lig side this summer as they look to bolster their attacking options.

The Turkish side have informed the Stock Market (KAP) and made a statement they are looking to sign the player: “We can confirm that we are in talks with Brighton and Hove Albion with regards to a temporary transfer of Florin Andone.”

The Romanian striker was linked with a move to Fenerbahce during the January transfer window, but it now looks certain he’ll be heading to their local rivals Galatasaray on a season-long loan deal. The final details of the loan move will reportedly be announced by Gala later today.

Galatasaray were interested in the Brighton player before his move from Deportivo La Coruna, and this time it seems the Istanbul side will land him.

Andone has made three appearances for Brighton this season, scoring one goal. He is under contract with the Premier League side until June 2023.
