The transfer business expected from AS Roma in the January transfer window is a constant topic in the Italian media, as José Mourinho has already made it clear he wants reinforcements for the second part of the season.
One of the targets the Giallorossi are said to have is Manchester United fullback Diogo Dalot, who’s been linked with a return to Italy ever since the end of his loan spell at AC Milan.
Now as local outlets talk about Roma’s transfer plans, we once again get to see a couple of mentions of the Portuguese player, with reports insisting that his move in January is a serious possibility.
Starting with Calcio Mercato, who features a piece on the Serie A side’s defensive sector, they claim that the contacts for Dalot’s arrival had already resulted in the player’s ‘yes’, as the only thing left now is an agreement between the clubs.
Meanwhile, as Giallorossi.net writes about the transfer plans and includes Dalot, they point out that ‘José Mourinho waits for him’. It’s said the Manchester United player is ‘physically strong, able to do both attacking and defending’.
Recent reports from Italy have been claiming that Roma want to sign the fullback on a loan with an option to buy, while the Red Devils would rather include an obligatory purchase clause of around €15m.
