Manchester United goalkeeper Joel Pereira is reportedly moving out of the club once again.
The Portuguese international has just returned from a loan spell at Vitória de Setúbal, and according to the Belgian press, he’s now signing for K.V. Kortrijk.
It’s outlet Het Nieuwsblad who reports it today, although they don’t make it very clear if it’s a loan deal or a permanent move, just that it’s happening.
Kortrijk have just lost goalkeeper Thomas Kaminski, who’s signed for league rivals Gent.
Now according to Nieuwsblad, Joel will compete for a starting spot along with Sébastien Bruzzese, who’s been the club’s number one choice this month.
Signed from Swiss side Xamax in 2012, Joel Pereira has been alternating between Manchester United and loan spells at several clubs. He has three official appearances for the Red Devils, but also got playing time featuring for Rochdale, Belenenses and Vitória de Setúbal in the past few years.
The move sounds more likely to be a loan, but let’s wait for the official confirmation now.
