Bordeaux are currently looking for potential replacements for Malcom.
Their star Brazilian attacker wanted to leave during the January transfer window, with clubs including Tottenham and Arsenal repeatedly linked, but wasn’t allowed to.
The French club were waiting for a summer sale, but some of those who were previously interested have dropped out of the picture and Malcom is currently most strongly linked with a move to Inter Milan.
As Bordeaux get their back-up plans ready, L’Equipe report the club have ‘addressed the situation’ of Southampton’s Sofiane Boufal.
An exit from the Saints wouldn’t be a surprise for Boufal after a disappointing first season with the club.
Mark Hughes doesn’t seem to be a fan, and Boufal is ‘among the solutions’ to replace Malcom this summer.
Also today, France’s Le10 Sport reiterate that Boufal has been pushed towards Marseille, and it seems a return to France could be on the cards for the Southampton player.
