Galatasaray have ‘accelerated their negotiations’ with Wolverhampton Wanderers to sign Adama Traore on deadline day of the Turkish transfer window.

That’s according to Sporx, who say the Turkish side are working on the figures involved in the deal to make it work.

They explain that negotiations for the forward started in the middle of last week when Galatasaray initially offered €3.5m for a one-year loan deal.

Wolves believed that was figure was love and asked Galatasaray to increase it, something it seems they are yet to do.

They’ve been negotiating with Traore in the interim and initially offer the Spaniard €2.7m, a slight increase on the €2.5m he earns at Wolves.

However, Traore was not impressed by this bid and instead demanded €4m net if he were to make the move to Turkey.

Thus, there is a hurdle that needs to be overcome and in the last 48 hours, the Yellow and Reds have been negotiating with both Wolves and Traore to ‘reduce’ the figures involved.

If all sides can take a step forward towards the figures proposed by Galatasaray, the negotiations will be accelerated again to get a deal over the line before the deadline.
