The agent of Manchester City’s Ivan Ilić is scheduled to arrive in Italy this week as the midfielder is attracting attention from Hellas Verona and Torino.

Having spent the previous campaign on loan at Hellas Verona, they want to bring him back to the club in the summer.

The 20-year-old’s former manager, Ivan Jurić, left the Serie A side for the Turin club and the latter wants to reunite with the Citizens player at Torino.

On July 27th, TuttoMercatoWeb reported Torino are ‘concretely interested’ in the Serbia international and are expected to meet his agent in the coming days.

TMW have come up with another report, focusing on Hellas Verona’s plan to sign the player, as they want to hand Ilić to their new manager, Eusebio Di Francesco.

It’s claimed the Italian club could not only make an effort to sign the Serbian on a loan deal with a purchase obligation, but also try to buy him ‘immediately’ by proposing an offer of about €8m to Pep Guardiola’s side.

Hellas Verona ‘accelerate’ their efforts and are prepared to make a ‘maxi investment’ to get the deal over the line. Only time should tell whether or not they will be successful.
