West Ham were being linked with forwards even before selling Sébastien Haller to Ajax, so that transfer inevitably encouraged things further.

Since then, David Moyes’ side have been linked with almost every conceivable target around Europe, with the main concentration being on the French market.

Hammers interest hasn’t just been restricted to Ligue 1, with further claims of interest regarding players in Italy and Spain. David Ornstein has reported an interest in Sevilla’s Youssef En-Nesyri, with it being claimed the London club are willing to put forward a €30m package to sign the player.

That would consist of €25m fixed and a further €5m in bonus payments, however, it’s not enough to even make Sevilla wobble.

En-Nesyri has scored 12 goals in 25 matches so far this season, and is clearly key for the La Liga club. Estadio Deportivo, local to Sevilla, report the claims and then add their own information.

It’s stated the figures mentioned would be ‘clearly insufficient’ for a move in the winter market, and therefore West Ham would have to go ‘significantly higher’ should they want to seal a deal.

Even then, Sevilla would need to have a ‘guaranteed replacement’, so be able to find and secure a signing of their own in the final two weeks of the market.
