Manchester United have a longstanding interest in Jadon Sancho, and it’s believed they have agreed personal terms with the Borussia Dortmund star.

The Red Devils were keen on signing the winger last summer, but failed to meet the deadline and the €120m asking price set by the German club.

On Tuesday, The Times reported BVB have lowered their valuation to £80m fixed fee plus £20m in bonuses, taking the overall price of the deal to £100m (€116m).

Claims made by The Times are relayed by Bild, and the German outlet provides their own information on this case.

Bild reiterate the Bundesliga side have not received an official offer from Manchester United, and the two clubs have not held any concrete talks for the 21-year-old.

Therefore, an agreement before the start of Euros 2020 is ‘unlikely’.

The England international has had an agreement with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side for a year, and it’s down to the Old Trafford club to find an agreement with Dortmund.

Manchester United have now been given a deadline. Bild state ‘there is a clear announcement from those in charge’ at BVB that Sancho will be sold if there’s a ‘suitable’ offer before the end of July.

If not, Sancho will play the 2021/22 season with Dortmund, under the orders of new coach Marco Rose.

In other words, the Premier League side have time until July 31st to complete the Sancho operation.
