TrtSpor’s Firat Gunayer has reported on how Besiktas goalkeeper Fabri is forcing a move to Fulham.

The Turkish club yesterday confirmed the Spanish goalkeeper is on his way to Craven Cottage, and looks set to be the first choice goalkeeper for Slavisa Jokanovic’s side next season.

Gunayer claims Besiktas didn’t want to sell Fabri but the player has reportedly demanded a move to England as paraphrased by the Turkish journalist: “Sambade wants me. The Premier League is my dream. If you do not allow me to join Fulham now, I’ll join on a free transfer next summer. So please sell me now, and it’s a win-win situation for all parties involved.”

It’s claimed once it became apparent Fabri wanted to sign for Fulham, Besiktas reluctantly began negotiations with the Premier League side and in the end the two clubs agreed to a €6m transfer fee.

Fabri is now on the verge of completing his move to Fulham and solving the Premier League club’s requirements in the goalkeeping department.
