Fanatik claim Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho doesn’t want Marcos Rojo to leave the club due to his ongoing rift with the Premier League club’s board.

Fenerbahce had been linked with a move for the Manchester United defender earlier this month as they look to bring in a central defender before the Super Lig transfer deadline.

Fanatik say Rojo was close to joining Fenerbahce but after a rift between Jose Mourinho and the Manchester United board, it’s reported that the Portuguese boss doesn’t want the Argentina international to be loaned out to the Turkish club.

It’s claimed Fenerbahce sporting director Damien Comolli will meet with Jose Mourinho in the coming days as he wants to convince him over Rojo moving to Turkey.

One of Fenerbahce’s reported summer targets, Ragnar Klavan, has joined Cagliari form Liverpool and the Istanbul club have also been linked with a move for Stoke City defender Bruno Martins Indi.
