The South American media continues to link Crystal Palace to the River Plate striker Rafael Santos Borré.
It’s now Radio Continental (via FutbolRed) who claims the London side are one of the candidates to land the 23-year-old.
It’s been said that Crystal Palace are for now only approaching the player’s representatives so they can learn the conditions of a possible deal for now.
Other sides who have been working to get the striker are both from Mexico, as Monterrey and Tigres are being linked in the very same story.
This rumour has been going on for about a week now. Last Friday, we covered similar claims coming from the South American ESPN which also said that Crystal Palace contacted the player’s entourage.
Borré has seven goals in 21 appearances for River Plate this season, and is tied with a contract which runs until 2021. The release clause which protects him is worth €30m.
