Javier Hernandez to Galatasaray has been a hot transfer rumour in the Turkish media in recent weeks but things have cooled since.

Today Fotomac have reported on the latest developments with regards to the West Ham United player’s future and they claim the Mexican striker wants to play in Spain or Italy next season if he leaves the Hammers this summer.

The 31 year old is reportedly not keen on joining Galatasaray but it’s also claimed West Ham are looking to part ways with the forward. With Hernandez having just a year left on his contract; the Premier League side are looking to offload him in this transfer window.

Hernandez has been linked with a move to La Liga side Valencia and Fotomac claim Galatasaray are still interested in signing the former Manchester United player. However, it seems the Mexico international will head elsewhere this summer.

Last season he scored 7 goals for West Ham United in the Premier League and is under contract with the London club until June 2020.
