Turkish website Fotospor report Fenerbahce’s offer for West Ham United midfielder Manuel Lanzini has been rejected.
The Super Lig side have recently been linked with a move for the Argentine, and Fotospor report their loan offer has been turned down by the Hammers.
Fener are in the market to sign an attacking midfielder this summer after losing Max Kruse midway through last season, and it’s reported they are seriously interested in signing Lanzini.
Fotospor haven’t given any information on whether Fenerbahce will return for the West Ham player with another offer, and theres a possibility they could try their luck again before the transfer window closes.
The playmaker started last season as a regular in the West Ham side, but under David Moyes he’s struggled to get games. After the re-start of the Premier League season the 27 year old hardly figured and played just 23 minutes in the final five games of the campaign.
Lanzini made 24 Premier League appearances for West Ham last season, providing three assists. His contract with the east London side will expire at the end of June 2023.
