AMK Spor claim Fenerbahce have made a move for Manchester City’s Oleksandr Zinchenko ahead of the January transfer window.
The Ukrainian international is currently being deployed by Pep Guardiola as a left back due to injuries, and it’s claimed talks have commenced over a proposed loan deal.
Fenerbahce are currently sitting in the relegation zone, and subsequently the Istanbul club are looking to strengthen their squad in order turn their fortunes around.
The 22-year old was linked with a move to Fenerbahce when Phillip Cocu was in charge at the club. Despite Cocu’s departure, AMK Spor say the Manchester City player is still a target for the Turkish side.
Zinchenko’s versatility would be a huge bonus for the Istanbul club but with the knee injury to Benjamin Mendy it’s unlikely the Premier League champions would allow him to leave in the next transfer window.
This season the player has made 8 appearances for Manchester City in all competitions.
