According to Haberturk, Galatasaray are looking to sign Southampton midfielder Mario Lemina before today’s deadline.
Gala have been linked with a number of central midfielders this summer following the departures of Badou Ndiaye and Fernando in July.
The Gabon international been has strongly linked with a move to Besiktas this summer but according to Haberturk, he’s now set to join Galatasaray on a season-long loan deal.
Haberturk claim the 26 year old will now travel to Turkey to undergo a medical and if this goes to plan, he will join the club on a temporary basis.
Lemina has fallen out of favour with Saints manager Ralph Hassenhüttl, and he’s looking for a way out from the Premier League side.
Signing for Galatasaray will give Lemina the opportunity to play in the Champions League, and he will become teammates with Fulham’s Jean Michael Seri, who’s also on loan at the Super Lig side.
The former Juventus player is under contract with the Premier League side until June 2022.
