In the middle of the deadline day chaos, there was a time when the Italian and the British media started agreeing on the information they had about Aaron Ramsey.

It was claimed that the midfielder would be leaving Juventus on a loan move to Giovanni Van Bronckorst’s Rangers FC, which could soon become permanent, as the Ibrox side had a buying option to keep him permanently.

However, according to new information from Sky in Italy, the deal was actually different.

The outlet (via Il Bianconero) claims there’s no clause for a purchase in the deal with Rangers, as previously reported. They now call it a ‘purchase pre-emption’, which is said to be a little different.

Sky says that in case Van Bronckhorst decides to sign Ramsey on a permanent deal, then they’ll have the ‘priority’ to ‘negotiate in advance’ in Juventus, meaning it won’t be just a matter of triggering the clause.

Previous reports said the buying option would be of €6m, and now it sounds like this figure could be moving up and down, depending on how the midfielder does at Ibrox.
