Two years ago, we covered claims made by Le Parisien that Manchester City are one of several clubs keeping tabs on Paris Saint-Germain youngster El Chadaille Bitshiabu.
Having joined the French club’s academy in 2017, the defender made progress over the years and has represented their senior team. Mauricio Pochettino included the 16-year-old in his match day squad on a handful of occasions this season, before he was handed a first team debut against Angers last month.
Bitshiabu’s emergence with the Ligue 1 winners seems to have caught the attention of Manchester City and a few other clubs.
That’s according to Téléfoot journalist Julien Maynard, who states the Citizens have joined Bayern Munich and Red Bull Salzburg in the chase.
#Mercato

Maynard, however, doesn’t provide an insight into the details of the ‘long-term project’ the English club are ready to offer the youngster. Despite the Etihad club’s interest, PSG are ‘closing the door’ on Bitshiabu’s potential exit.
