It may sound like a joke, but Manchester United’s chase for Anderson Talisca is still continuing in the Portuguese media.

It’s the newspaper O Jogo who insists on the saga this time, claiming the Red Devils now have some competition from China for the player.

According to their report, there are two secret Chinese clubs who have just matched Manchester United’s €40m bid for the midfielder.

Now the Brazilian is set to meet his agents and decide where to go. Even though he’s always liked the idea of moving to Old Trafford, the Chinese sides would have a financial advantage.

Interestingly, newspaper Record also has a story about Talisca, also claiming that two Chinese clubs are in for him. They even name the sides, saying it’s Changchun Yatai and Beijing Guoan.

However, Record doesn’t mention Manchester United, and claims that Talisca should be heading to China with all this interest in him.

Now is Manchester United’s €40m bid even true? With the deal for Fred getting so close, and others linked, it’s difficult to see where Talisca may in.
