There are some transfer rumours which are pretty hard to believe when they show up, and that’s the case of a story from Inter Live today.

The website writes that Inter Milan could soon have the chance to sign Alex Telles, who’s been a ‘flop’ at Manchester United since his arrival last summer.

The Nerazzurri are expected to go for a left-back in the next transfer window, but they don’t even need to make a big effort to find one, as the Brazilian is apparently being offered by the Red Devils.

Inter Live writes that Manchester United’s idea could consist in a ‘big deal’ which would include midfielder Marcelo Brozovic. The Premier League side reportedly believe Telles is worth €20m, and would spend €30m or €32m more to get the Croatian international.

Inter Live claims Telles’ season has been disappointing, as he couldn’t impress in his appearances for now, despite the big expectations around his signing.

The fullback joined the Red Devils on a €15m move from Porto last summer, and made 15 appearances for the Old Trafford side so far.

Even though he was expected to steal Luke Shaw’s place in the team, his arrival coincided with the Englishman’s huge improvement, giving Ole Gunnar Solskjaer no other option but to leave the new signing on the bench.

Now would that mean that Manchester United would get rid of Telles after such a short time? We highly doubt it, with competition for the role now healthy, and the two Manchester United players clearly pushing each other to be better.

This is certainly one to file in the take with a massive bucket of salt pile, but we just thought we’d give you a heads up in case you saw this elsewhere down the line written in a more, let’s say, sensational manner.
