Milliyet’s Besiktas journalist Serdar Saridag has reported on the latest transfer developments at Besiktas and he claims Leeds United are interested in Fulham goalkeeper Fabri.
Saridag says Fabri will not return to Besiktas despite recent speculation, as they are looking to put their faith in Liverpool loanee Loric Karius. The Turkish journalist reports Leeds United ‘want him’, along with La Liga side Rayo Vallecano.
The 31 year old joined Fulham from Besiktas in the summer for a fee believed to be in the region of €7m but he’s failed to establish himself at Craven Cottage. The former Besiktas player has made just three Premier League appearances and is no longer involved in Claudio Raneri’s match day squads.
Fabri is good at playing out with the ball at his feet, which could make him an ideal signing for Marcelo Bielsa ahead of the next transfer window. A transfer would be relatively easy given his current situation.
22 year old Bailey-Peacock Farrell is the current No.1 at Leeds United but is lacking in experience.
