On February 9th, AFC Bournemouth made Luis Sinisterra’s stay permanent, after initially signing him on loan from Leeds United.
The Whites are in line to receive more money as Diego Llorente is expected to leave Elland Road on a permanent transfer, according to Il Romanista.
Last January, the defender joined AS Roma on loan and Leeds agreed to extend his temporary stay for this season. The report says there’s an obligation to buy if certain set conditions are met.
At the same time, it’s claimed they are ‘very close to a big coup for which only the official announcement is missing’. This is when the report mentions Llorente and adds that Leeds will collect €5m, if he were to make 50% of the appearances this season.
The 30-year-old has featured 27 times in all competitions, including 21 league games so far. He’s already made 50% of appearances in the league and it’s not clear whether there are more conditions that need to be fulfilled.
Taking the Leeds owned player’s form and role at the club into account, Il Romanista state the ‘almost certain redemption’ confirms Llorente’s status at Roma.
They add the Serie A side are ‘one step away’ from purchasing the defender.
