Turkish journalist Ertan Suzgun claims Besiktas have made a loan offer for Arsenal’s Reiss Nelson, but the Premier League club are not keen to let the youngster leave this summer.
Besiktas are in the market for wingers as the club’s manager Sergen Yalcin is keen to bolster his options, and Suzgun reports Nelson is a target for the Black Eagles.
The Turkish side could part ways with their current wingers Tyler Boyd, Jeremain Lens and Abdoulaye Diaby, and loaning Nelson would be a shrewd piece of business.
Besiktas have reportedly approached Arsenal to loan the player for one year, but the North London side are said to be rejecting offers for Nelson, as they see him as part of their plans for next season.
The 20 year old spent the 2018/19 season on loan at German club Hoffenheim and returned to Arsenal last summer.
Nelson has made 22 appearances for Arsenal in all competitions this season and scored three goals. His contract with the Gunners will expire at the end of June 2023.
