Chelsea can keep Pedro until the 2019/20 season is completed and the winger will then be able to leave the Blues as a free agent.

On May 27th, Corriere dello Sport reported AS Roma remain ‘confident’ of landing the Spaniard.

Last weekend, we covered claims from Calciomercato, who explained the 32-year-old is a ‘concrete’ transfer idea for Juventus.

It was also suggested that Juve chief Fabio Paratici wants the Old Lady to challenge Roma for the former Barcelona man’s signature to ‘please’ Maurizio Sarri.

Italian journalist Ciro Venerato provided an update on the Chelsea winger’s chances of joining the Serie A winners, on Radio Sportiva’s program Microfono Aperto. Area Napoli have relayed his comments.

“Juventus? Take note of this news: Andrea Agnelli’s club will not take the Chelsea forward. The management of the Old Lady have no intention to focus on the Spanish footballer. This is the news I have,” Venerato said.

The journalist’s comments on Juventus ruling out a move for Pedro should come as a boost for Roma, who are reportedly keen.

Meanwhile, Venerato also stated there has been faint interest from Napoli in Frank Lampard’s man. However, he hasn’t provided any information about Pedro’s chances of joining Gennaro Gattuso’s side.
