Russian website Championat claim Lokomotiv Moscow can’t reach an agreement with Burnley striker Matej Vydra’s agent Ondrej Chovanec.
The Czech striker has been linked with a move to the Moscow club with the Russian transfer window only set to close next week.
His agent recently confirmed RPL clubs are interested in his client’s services and he also revealed Burnley rejected offers from Rangers and Aston Villa for the 27 year old.
According to Championat, Lokomotiv Moscow couldn’t agree on a loan for Vydra and this is the main reason why they can’t seal a deal with his agent. As things stand the deal will only happen if Chovanec agrees with Lokomotiv’s terms.
The former Derby County player hasn’t been getting regular games in the Premier League for Sean Dyche’s side this season and open to leaving the club to get first-team football ahead of Euro 2020.
However, he played against Southampton on Saturday, scoring an excellent goal.
Vydra’s contract at Turf Moor will expire at the end of June 2021.
