Turkish website Asist Analiz report RB Leipzig have reached an agreement with Crystal Palace for the transfer of Alexander Sörloth, but the Eagles have been unable to convince Trabzonspor.
The Turkish club have the option to sign Sörloth for €6m before the end of the coming season and they are making things difficult for the Premier League side.
It’s reported Palace have offered a percentage of the transfer fee to Trabzonspor if the player moves to RB Leipzig, but the Turkish club have rejected this.
Regional newspaper reporter Hasan Tüncel also claims Crystal Palace have sent a formal letter to Trabzonspor to ask them what their plans are for the Norwegian international.
The situation now seems very complicated for all parties involved and there looks to be no significant developments with regards to the attacker’s next move.
The 24 year old finished the season as top scorer in the Turkish Super Lig and is under contract at Crystal Palace until June 2022.
